Kamiyama

Kamiyama is the best soba restaurant for a special occasion and an evening date, for its fancy atmosphere and great service. Located a 12-minute walk from Shibuya station.

You can choose between the regular soba menu (1000-2400 yen) and a course menu (4000 or 5000 yen) consisting of soba and some side dishes. Their soba noodles are freshly made every morning and have a sophisticated flavor. They also offer a wide selection of sake from all over the country too.

Fukudaya

Fukudaya is located in the heart of Shibuya, a 5-minute walk from the station. It is a casual and calm soba restaurant where you can just have a relaxing time.

What is good about this restaurant is their soba is filling. This is the soba restaurant you go to satisfy your hunger. The prices vary from 650 to 2000 yen. They have a variety of menu items which includes seasonal dishes.

Soba Hiyamugi Sagatani

This is a famous "tachigui soba" shop in Shibuya, located a 5-minute walk from the station. "Tachigui soba" is a standing-style soba shop which is often seen in the country.

Although very small, the service is very fast and the staff is friendly. You can choose from a variety of soba dishes, all of which are priced reasonably. More surprisingly, they offer a glass of beer for just 150 yen!

Shinshuya

Shinshuya is well known for serving quick, cheap, and delicious soba. Located a 3-minute walk from Shibuya station.

The most simple soba (noodles and soup) dish is just 290 yen. You can easily spend less than 500 yen even if you get some toppings like tempura. Although reasonably priced, the quality is still good. You can enjoy slurping the flavorful soba with the sweet and savory soup.
