Misono Osaka

Misono is a teppanyaki restaurant located 1 minute away from Kita-Shinchi Station, 5 minutes from Umeda station or 8 minutes from Osaka station. Although the main store is in Kobe, all the stores in Misono specialize in cooking Kobe Wagyu beef.
What sets Misono apart from other Teppanyaki restaurants is, of course, the quality of the beef used. But also the chef's 'performance' when grilling the ingredients before your eyes and the alcohol pairings.

Also, if you go to the restaurant's main store in Kobe, there is a Halal Kobe beef option! All the more reasons to try this outstanding restaurant. A reservation is required for the Halal option.

Chances are that if you're going to Misono, you want to try Kobe beef; the courses vary between ¥22,000 and ¥30,000. The priciest course also comes with half a lobster tail.

There are other types of Japanese beef (Wagyu) to choose from, and the courses are from ¥14,000 to ¥23,000.

There are 14 courses to choose from in total so you are bound to find something that will tickle your fancy. In fact, there is even a seafood course if someone in your group doesn't like meat.
There are many courses to choose from at lunchtime which are surprisingly affordable.
The teppanyaki lunch sets are between ¥3,000-¥9,000. They all come with 120g of beef, vegetables, salad, rice, miso soup, coffee and dessert. The quality of the meat varies.
For lunch, you can also get a steak rice bowl lunch set which is ¥1,000 for a regular size or ¥1,200 for a large.
No matter what you have here, you can be sure the ingredients will be grilled to perfection. Also simply seeing the chefs in action right before your eyes is worth the trip.

The teppanyaki at Misono will surely make for an unforgettable culinary experience. Be sure to make a reservation beforehand because this restaurant is quite popular.
