Akiba Fukurou [Akihabara]

Akiba Fukurou is an owl cafe located 2 minutes away from Akihabara, the electric district of Tokyo. There are around 20 owls in the cafe that are of different breeds and size. You can pat and hold the owls for an hour, and the price is ¥1500.

You might think that owl cafes are a pretty niche interest, but the cafe is actually really popular! If you want to visit, you'll need to make a reservation online:

Ikefukurou Cafe [Ikebukuro]

Ikefukurou Cafe is only a 1 minute walk from Ikebukuro station in Tokyo (haha, puns). There are over 30 owls waiting to meet you, including some Japanese owl breeds and foreign owl breeds. You can interact with owls and let them heal your tired heart.

For ¥1500, you can play with the adorable owls for an hour and can also get one drink! The weekend price is ¥1600!

Fukurou Cafe Hoot Hoot [Shibuya]

This owl cafe is located 10 minutes away from Shibuya station in Tokyo. There are 7 adorable owls waiting for you! For a beverage, you can choose from a variety of soft drinks, coffee, tea and alcohol. This cafe is a little pricier than the others on this list, at ¥1500 for 30 minutes and one drink (¥2500 for an hour). If you want to hold the owl or feed them, it costs an extra ¥500, but because it is smaller than the other owl cafes, you can relax and spend more time with the owls!

Fukurou Cafe Mofu Mofu [Shinjuku]

Fukurou Cafe Mofu Mofu is located 8 minutes away from Shinjuku station. Shinjuku is a very populated area and is always busy with people, so the 10 cute owls are ready to soothe your exhaustion.

The price is ¥1500 on weekdays which comes with one drink and an hour to play with the owls! During weekends the price is ¥1800.
