Here Are the Best Ramen Places in Kumamoto!!

There are as many types of ramen as there as stars in the sky..I'm only kidding, but there really are an almost infinite amount of different types of ramen to try in Japan. Ramen lovers, I really recommend trying ramen in each prefecture you visit, in order to really taste the regional particularities!!

Kumamoto ramen's particularity is that it has thick noodles, thick pork broth, fried garlic oil and garlic. Fried garlic helps open the appetite.

Komurasaki

You should try the "Chasu-men" when you go, it's ramen noodles (men) with slices of pork, mushrooms, and the stock is made of pork. The broth is delicious and the the meat is melt-in-your-mouth incredible!

Kumamoto Keika-Ramen

Keika Ramen is also a ramen shop originally from Kumamoto with branches all over Tokyo. This goes to show how popular Kumamoto ramen is all over Japan! You should try the "Keika Ramen", the broth is made with pork belly and bones so it is quite thick. And the garlic oil added to it really harmonizes the broth. It has two thick of pork on top with an egg, some bamboo shots and chives. Yum!

Daikoku

The ramen is delicious and the noodle portion is very generous. Some people even say it's the best ramen in Kumamoto! There are tons of signatures of celebrities on the wall, which goes to show how popular this resto is! The particularity of this resto is the black broth, you should definitely try it!
